I love my new hat and you must know that I wore it to dinner over the weekend. I had three walk-by smiling and saying "Cool hat!" The lined interior speaks to quality, the wool material has a great "hand" (understand touch) and the sewed areas reveal quality craftsmanship. Very pleased with my purchase and will buy again.
A Timeless Classic
I have now purchased several Scala hats from Tenth Street, and I have never been disappointed. This elegant "Godfather" Homburg was no exception--made out of the same materials and pressed in the same shape as a vintage hat to give it that timeless, "classic" feel. Everyone knows that a homburg pairs with a tuxedo just as well as a top-hat pairs with tails, and this hat is perfect to polish off your inspired look for any special occasion. I would highly recommend.

For those dressy occasions
The “Derby” by Scala is a beautiful hat that is perfect for those times when you want to be a little dressier. And yet I find myself wearing it many days just because I like it. Scala makes a nice hat for its price point. Tenth Street offers a couple Homburgs, this one and another by Stacy Adams that runs about $15 more. Perhaps one small drawback of online is you cannot see or try the actual hat to determine which model better suits you. They look very similar in pictures though and Scala had more color selection. I usually do very well with size L in Scala, and while size can be impacted by haircut frequency, this was slightly large fir me, but easily fixable with the included inserts. I am really liking this hat and recommend to anyone interested in iwning a Homburg

Homberg, a stately hat
A very nice addition to my hat collection. Like most of my hats, it requires a little time in a hat stretcher to make it more oval. I’m surprised how much I like the upturned brim. As a fedora fan, I’m used to a downturned front brim. This Homberg is a good solid hat.
